So now that you know that I am over 250lbs, there's no point to not share the videos I took during the The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Auditions held last Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Pinoy Big Brother Activity Area near the ABS-CBN compound. It was very tiring, hot, sweaty, smelly and sticky since there were hundreds of other blobs and lard bags around (including moi). My friends and I got there at about quarter to seven in the morning and the line was already a mile long. It's still a good thing to get up early because I was #0129. The sad part was that there were some fat ass girls who didn't weigh more than 180lbs and some fat ass boys tried to push their luck even if they were below 240lbs. FAT CHANCE!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Anyway, they started calling out the participants in numerical order and they got groups of 10 to do the VTR together at one time. Finally, 2pm struck and we were all tired, sweaty, smelly and hungry. That was also when #0120 - #0130 were called for our turn. Unfortunately, I didn't make the cut because I think my personality was much too strong for them to choose. Mega-english galore and everything! Overflowing with confidence and all that. Ending.. T.Y.G.! My Gosh! Thank you girl! Hahahaha!!! They chose #0127 and 0130. They skipped me. Was I not fat enough after I downed 6 pieces of House of Siomai (bought at the MRT Quezon Ave. Station on the way to the PBB Activity Area), 2 Karimans and 2 bottles of Gatorade from a nearby Ministop? Anyway, I really don't know if I should be happy that I didn't make the cut because (I think) they didn't think I was fat enough or should I be sad because I wasn't fat enough to make it in. Or should I just face the reality that they are really looking for younger ones they can still corrupt and exploit? Those who have more face value, perhaps? Or am I just bitter? I guess. Hahaha!!! So after all that effort, I am still someone on the outside, looking in.

I believe there's a formula that you forgot to apply. You must have a unique story. A story that can be exploited and marketed. Also, you have to accept the fact that there will always be shoo-in applicants who have connections with the network. You must have appealed to their emotions--if you noticed their teaser/audition trailer they featured Insecure people who need to improve their self-confidence by losing weight. Maybe you will shine somewhere else - a venue where you will not be imprisoned for several months and consumed by the public for their viewing pleasure.

I have also auditioned and immediately after being cut I knew na where I got it all wrong. I spoke in enlgish with conviction and confidence! Di nakatulong ang pag nood ko ng Legally Blonde at Miss Congeniality the day before ng auditions. Hahahahaha! Yung mga nakapasok sa group namin ay ung mahiyain at nabubulol bulol pa at di makatingin sa camera. Yun ang gusto siguro nila aside siguro dun sa may mga handlers na.
